Torah Stories from the Book of Genesis
Discussing Abraham & Sarah until Joseph.
Students are illustrating a Torah Booklet to bring home at the end of the year.

Theme: Shabbat & Marvelous Middos
1st semester: Students will be creating a Shabbat Box to take home, combining lessons, stories and prayers.
2nd semester: Marvelous Middos - a curriculum discussing moral and ethical behaviors according to the Torah (i.e. hospitality, Tzedakah, returning lost objects, etc.)

Aleph Bet - Focusing on a letter a day, using lots of review games and practicing writing the letter too.
Begin ALEPH CHAMP
Reading tutors work privately with each student for 10 minutes a day (during class time) reviewing the Alef Bet and progressing to reading Hebrew as soon as the student is ready.

Introduction to the Book of Shmot, using a Torah workbook as a follow up to their interactive lesson.

Theme: The Jewish Home
Students are making an book focusing on a different rooms in the house and its appropriate mitzvah:
Front Door -Mezuzah
Dining room – Shabbat
Kitchen – reciting blessings over food
Playroom - Sharing etc.

Book of Genesis in depth using simple worksheets to follow their discussion.

The Synagogue – exploring the different articles and customs in the synagogue including an in depth course on the Torah Scroll and a fun Synagogue Tour.
