Expanding Outwards
Creating a new outdoor communal space that will bridge the indoors and the outdoors in a truly beautiful setting.
We are pleased to inform you that the Chabad Center of Sudbury will be initiating a new expansion in the form of a new large deck that will provide a whole new dimension and atmosphere to community events.
The new space will consist of a large and beautiful deck that will be attached to the main indoor communal area / synagogue. The eight hundred square foot deck will provide an additional area for people to congregate, socialize, learn, celebrate and be a part of what happens indoors while still being outdoors.
Please consider partnering with us in creating the new communal space that will bridge the beautiful indoor experience with the stunning outdoor setting.
While we have often thought of doing this in the past, in recent times this has become an obvious need for enabling everyone to feel comfortable at Chabad events.
Some of the exciting potential uses for this new space include, overflow for prayers and lectures that take place indoors, overflow for Bar & Bat Mitzvahs and small functions, a place for the Sukkah, a new place for Shabbat Dinners and community functions and so much more.
We are extremely grateful to the generosity of Richard & Gabrielle Henken, who have jump started this campaign with a gift of $25,000 towards getting the project going. We thank them for their kindness and vision in seeing the value of creating this space and helping us continuously build and develop community.
