Yom Kippur Am Yisrael Chai Request
B"H
Dear Friends,
As we approach Yom Kippur 5785 / 2024, we turn to you and ask for your support to help us strengthen Jewish life, education, empowerment and community, right here in the greater Sudbury area.
It has certainly been a challenging twelve months, and we never would have imagined last Yom Kippur, what this year would look like. Yet as the terrible and painful crisis unfolded, the Chabad Center of Sudbury has been here to make sure that Judaism and Jewish people, do not have to hunker down or lower their heads, but instead can be prouder, stronger and more educated and empowered than ever before.
All of this is happening in addition to the tremendous efforts we have invested in supporting our brothers and sisters in Israel, and in dealing with antisemitism and its ramifications in our own local towns and communities.
As the pain increased and wreaked so much havoc on all of us, the Chabad Center of Sudbury, has been here to keep the light and joys of Judaism shining brighter than ever.
It is fair to say that thousands of people walked through our doors or have been connected with our events or visits, over the course of the last twelve months, as activities and attendance surged, and more children, teens, young families, adults and seniors all came to connect, to be a part of the community, to be inspired, to lean on each other’s shoulders, and to collectively make sure that Am Yisrael Chai, is a reality that we will live by and make happen.
In these final days before Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year, and a day which has a whole other challenging dimension this year, we turn to you and ask you to help us make sure that joys and vibrance of Judaism in the Sudbury area, are shining brighter than ever before.
Through your support, you will be supporting more programs for our seniors, you will be engaging teens and children, you will be helping make sure that so many adults and families will be connected to each other, gain strength and inspiration from one another, or simply not forgotten about.
Thank you in advance for helping us make Am Yisrael Chai, shine brighter than ever in the Sudbury area and beyond!

Thank you in advance for your continued support.
May our collective prayers and hopes for peace, health, security, meaning and growth, be answered and may the coming months bring only blessings for all of us, and of course for all those going through suffering, especially in Israel, and especially the release of the hostages.
Am Yisrael Chai & Thank You!
