GIVE TO THE NEEDY

Concern for the needy is a year-round responsibility; but on Purim it is a special mitzvah to remember the poor.

Give charity to at least two (but preferably more) needy individuals on Purim day, March 12.

If you are not able to find a poor person, we are able to facilitate this great Mitzvah for you. Click donate below to send a donation (note that it's for this cause), and we will distribute it to local families and needy.

SEND PURIM BASKETS TO FRIENDS & SOLDIERS IN THE IDF VIA OUR PURIM PROJECT

On Purim we emphasize the importance of unity and friendship by sending gifts of food to friends.

Purim Project.gifThe Chabad Center of Sudbury is once again running our annual Purim Project that allows you to celebrate Purim with friends, support the work of Chabad, gift an IDF soldier, and build local community.

The Purim Project is built on the age old custom of giving a Purim Basket (Mishloach Manot Purim Packages) to one another to celebrate Purim & Friendship. This Project allows you to both bring the joy of Purim to your friends and family and at the same time help support the work of the Chabad Center of Sudbury.

Once you login to our secure online system you will see a list of people you may know from the Sudbury area or from events and programs at Chabad of Sudbury.

The Chabad Center will prepare a Mishloach Manot basket to anyone receiving one or more greetings from fellow members. The baskets will be delivered to members’ homes on Purim. You will have the pleasure at knowing that you shared a thoughtful gift to a friend and at the same time you are helping the vital community work of the Chabad Center of Sudbury.
