The Chabad Center of Sudbury, is about to mark 18 years of serving the community with vibrant Judaism, a robust and active community, a strong connection with Israel, and education, programs and care for all ages.
As we look forward to the future, we ask you to partner with us, to help sustain this momentum.
Now more than ever, supporting a strong Jewish community and its ability to continue to inspire, educate and make a difference to others, has never been more important.
As we prepare to celebrate Chanukah, we remember the message of light over darkness, and our collective goal to brighten our world and community one soul and one Mitzvah at a time. All this, while standing by and supporting our brethren locally and in Israel. Let’s continue to be a beacon of light, clarity, inspiration and kindness, by strengthening our community and efforts.
The Matching Fundraiser
Thousands of people come through the doors of the Chabad Center of Sudbury over the course of the year, and many more are reached through dozens of encounters in homes, senior centers, and offices. There is no membership fee and programs are open to all. The Center relies on voluntary local support to help sustain and grow the community.
Thanks to the generosity of some very generous philanthropists led by Richard & Gabrielle Henken and other generous benefactors, we are aiming to raise a combined total of $180k through this fundraiser. $90k has been pledged in matching donations, with each dollar donated being matched dollar for dollar, for a combined goal of $180k.
This fundraiser, will give us the ability to wrap up 18 years in a strong position, and it will help fund and support the strengthening and growth of our community with even more programming and more lives touched and impacted.

Over the last year, through your generous support the impact of Chabad of Sudbury has continued to impact so many, and it includes some of the following;
- Dozens of Children enjoying weekly Educational Experiences
- A summer Day Camp that provided a fun and menaingful summer to many children.
- Dozens of teens enjoying fun, meaningful and educational programs several times a month.
- Weekly visitation and programs at local senior and nursing homes.
- Almost 70 Thanksgiving Dinners distributed to local seniors and other homebound individuals.
- Support and advocacy for Israel on many levels.
- Working against antisemitism on many levels.
- Lectures and Adult Education Classes that have drawn hundreds to dozens.
- Holiday Programs that draw hundreds.
- Counseling and Support for many individuals and families
- Weekly Shabbat, Holiday & Other Services
