One year since the Chabad Center of Sudbury was established.

This week we will mark one year since we moved to Sudbury, MA to establish the Chabad Center of Sudbury. A year ago as we made our way up the I-95 to Sudbury followed by our moving truck I remember thinking with a little trepidation about the challenges, work and the kind of future that lay ahead of us.

Today one year later as we look back and reflect on our first year in Sudbury we can truly say that it has been a wonderful year of tremendous growth and movement for us at the Chabad Center of Sudbury. We are extremely appreciative and grateful for all the wonderful people we have met over the year, the warm and wonderful new  friends we have made, and so happy to have shared so many wonderful moments with so many great people.

We are appreciative most importantly to G‑d for all the wonderful blessings he has endowed us with,  to the Lubavitcher Rebbe whose teachings and vision continue to inspire and guide our work, and to all our wonderful families, friends and supporters who continue to support and encourage us, and enable us to grow and move forward.

Some of our highlights this year included Sudbury's first Model Matza Bakery attended by hundreds, a Shavuot celebration, a Shofar Factory, High Holiday services at the Clarion Hotel, a Simchat Torah celebration, our Chanukah Festival, many classes for Adults and children, multiple senior programs, and lots lots more. With G‑d's help we look forward to another year of tremendous growth with all of our new friends in Sudbury and the surrounding towns and with the hope that we will continue to grow in leaps and bounds. May we all be blessed with abundant blessings of good health, success, and happiness.

Yours Truly

Rabbi Yisroel & Shayna Freeman
