Shabbaton this Weekend

The Chabad Center of Sudbury invites you to join us for a unique Shabbaton this coming weekend that will feature Rabbi Yehudah & Miriam Ferris of Berkeley, CA. Two years ago the Ferris's led a Shabbaton that was magnificently successful and kept the crowds rolling with laughter while listening to engaging, entertaining and meaningful content. Once again we are fortunate to be hosting the Ferris's for the weekend and we invite the community to join us and share the experience.
Friday Aug 9th
Kabbalat Shabbat Services 7pm - Location: Freeman Residence
Friday Night Shabbat Dinner 7:30pm - Featuring great food and words of humor and wisdom from the Ferris's.
Topics of the Evening Include: Judaism in Berkeley, Happiness, Meaning in Life, Can Judaism be Enjoyable & More.
Saturday Aug 10th
Services at 10:15am - Location: Chabad of Sudbury
Kiddush & Farbrengen at 12:15pm with words from Rabbi Ferris and Rabbi Yosef Romano

About Rabbi Yehudah & Miriam Ferris
For close to 30 years Rabbi Yehudah and Miriam Ferris have been bringing the warmth and smile of Judaism to Berkeley and its colleges through a combination of humor, wit, education, & love and joy of life.
The Ferris's both teach and lecture at some of the Berkeley Academic Institutions and to the Berkeley Jewish Community on topics of Judaism and Medical Ethics and have helped create a vibrant Jewish Community in the East Bay area. Meet them in person at this weekend's Shabbaton and hear their inspiring stories of their own spiritual journeys which have roots in Boston and macrobiotics, as well as humorous and captivating stories of insight and meaning from their 25+ year journey in Berkeley, CA.
