What is Shavuot?
Shavuot is a special harvest holiday that is marked after 49 days of counting which began on the second day of Passover. Shavuot marks the date when Gād gave the Torah to the Jewish people at Mount Sinai more than 3,300 years ago. It is celebrated by lighting candles, staying up all night to learn Torah, hearing the reading of the Ten Commandments in synagogue, feasting on dairy foods and lots more!
Please join us for our main Family Shavuot Celebration on Monday May 17th at 5:30pm and for our other services.
