We invite you to join us to meet and hear the inspiring and dramatic story of Major Rami Sherman who served in the IDF's elite Sayeret Matkal unit and served under "Commander Yoni" as the Operations Officer in the famous daring "Entebbe Rescue Operation" in 1976.
As Jews were once again being separated from all other passengers and being threatened with death, while all others were being released, painful memories of the Holocaust began to be felt, and the big question was, what could be done about it this time.
Major Sherman, who himself is a child of Holocaust Survivors was the Operations Officer of the mission, will discuss the planning and execution of this famous operation, as well as the powerful life lessons he learned and how ultimately this mission changed the course of his life.
