We invite you to join us for a Lag Baomer Cheer Parade as we drive through Sudbury and celebrate this joyous day by bringing some joy and good spirits to our community and say thank you to all of the First Responders and Medical Workers in our town. We ask all participants to register and try and decorate their cars with some balloons and nice signs with positive and uplifting messages to the community as well as thank you's to those who deserve it so much.
Following the short parade we will circle back to Chabad where pre-ordered Israeli Dinners from Rami's in Brookline will be waiting for safe pickup. Cars will drive through Chabad and pass the small Lag Baomer fire and music and will pick up their Israeli food and Smores Kits to make on their own fire at home.
A physically distant but socially connected way of celebrating Lag Baomer!
The spots on the car parade may be limited.
You will be able to order the food from Rami's by seeing the info below and then do the pickup outdoors at Chabad even if you don't go on the Parade.
Their will be no physical contact between people and each family will stay in their own car at all times.
The parade will depart Chabad of Sudbury at 5pm on Tuesday May 12th and will pass the three fire departments in town, the police station, and some other places as it brings some cheer to different neighborhoods.
The food from Rami's will be available for pickup starting at 5:45pm
Kindly RSVP and Please let us know if you placed an order with Rami's by emailing us at [email protected] or by calling 978-443-0110
Reservations will be taken on a first come first serve basis.
