Purim is a day of celebration and sharing together.  It is a Jewish Holiday on which we exchange gifts of delicacies, aid the poor, and feast on superb dishes. The holiday celebrates the survival of the Jewish nation in ancient Persia during the reign of King Achashverosh (Xerxes). The Jews triumphed because of their active unity and unshakable commitment to their Jewish identity.

In addition to Purim in Hawaii there will be a Public Megilla Reading on Saturday evening March 19th at 8:00pm at the Chabad Center of Sudbury
