Hebrew School Open House
The Chabad Center of Sudbury invites you to join us for a Hebrew School Open House on Sunday May 6th from 10:00am – 11:30am. Come and visit our new center and discover why dozens of families have chosen the Chabad Hebrew School for their children’s education. The Hebrew School which runs on Sunday Mornings has been running for eleven years and has grown to now include five different age groups and classes.
The students who come to our Hebrew School love coming and learning and very often literally run to come and learn each Sunday. The students attending come home with a broader knowledge of what Jewish values and tradition mean to them, as well as good knowledge in Hebrew reading and Jewish Holidays and History. For Hebrew Reading we use the highly successful Aleph Champ Reading program which is a color coded system of advancing through multiple reading levels which is able to be geared to each student according to their needs.
Throughout the year we have many special events at Hebrew School surrounding the Jewish holidays or other special themes like Israel which give the students a chance connect with the beautiful messages and values of our tradition. Our dedicated teachers and volunteers help make the experience an enjoyable one for both the students and the parents and you too can become of those parents.
Chabad of Sudbury does not have membership dues (as it relies on voluntary donations) so you simply pay for the Hebrew School Tuition with no strings attached. No synagogue or knowledge background required and Tuition Scholarships are available. Hebrew School for the next academic year will start in early September 2018.
