On behalf of Shir HaShirim, our new, all-inclusive congregation established at the Chelsea Soldiers' Home, Chelsea, MA., I want to express my appreciation and that of the resident veterans (459 plus staff) and those who interacted in your discussion (January 14th) of the current situation in Israel and Gaza.

I received this today from Julie Sahlins, the CSH social worker, and want to pass it along to you, your congregants at the Chabad Center of Sudbury and all who would appreciate knowing that their Rabbi Freeman is very much interested in the plight of veterans and invests the time to make a significant difference in their lives. The war in Israel It is now well into the second week of the war in Southern Israel, and today Israel was attacked with missiles in the north too. We all know people who are being directly effected by this, either civilians who are running to bomb shelters, or IDF soldiers who are fighting the terrorists on the ground.
