Dear Rabbi Freeman:
On behalf of Shir HaShirim, our new, all-inclusive congregation established at the Chelsea Soldiers' Home, Chelsea, MA., I want to express my appreciation and that of the resident veterans (459 plus staff) and those who interacted in your discussion (January 14th) of the current situation in Israel and Gaza.
I received this today from Julie Sahlins, the CSH social worker, and want to pass it along to you, your congregants at the Chabad Center of Sudbury and all who would appreciate knowing that their Rabbi Freeman is very much interested in the plight of veterans and invests the time to make a significant difference in their lives.  And, that you most certainly did.

Dear David,
Thank you and Rabbi Freeman so much for coming to speak to our current events group today. The men told me that they enjoyed your presentation very much, and that it was very informative.   It is really wonderful when our frail elderly veterans can participate with members of the community as the adults that they are.  Thank you for the kindness and respect that you showed to them.  We are all looking forward to the exciting events that you have planned!
Shalom, Julie
