Sunday March 16th over 15 ladies joined us for a fun evening of Hamantashen Baking, socializing and Purim Discussion. For pictures click here Due to multiple requests we will share the recipe of the amazing Hamantashen courtesy of Bina Magazine 1 cup of Sugar 1 cup of oil half a cup minus two table spoons orange juice 2 table spoons vodka or bourbon 3 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract four cups of flour 2 teaspoons corn starch (optional) half a teaspoon salt 1 and half teaspoon baking powder quarter of a teaspoon baking soda Pre Heat oven to 350 Beat sugar and oil with electric mixer, add remaining ingredients, cover the dough with a clean towel and let rest for 20 minutes. Bake for 20 minutes or until lightly golden | |
