Local ladies gathered on the 8th night of Chanukah for an evening of celebration and fun. The program included a fun grab bag game, a meaningful discussion about Chanukah's meaning, a latke bar and packing Chanukah packages for dozens of soldiers in Iraq. A special thanks to those who donated supplies including Ed Brookmyer and Dr. Steven Cohen.
Girls Latke Bake
Local girls joined together to bake Latke's and have some Chanukah fun. Activities included the making of delicious Latke's although they were a little on the salty side and a fun dreidel game.
Story & Craft Hour
On Thursday December 6th a special Children's Story and Craft Hour took place in our new center. It marked the first event at our new location and it was great to see it in use. Over 30 people attended the event and they enjoyed a story, crafts, donuts and Latkes and much more.
Shabbat Minyan
This past Shabbat we had a Saturday Morning Service in honor of Chanukah. G-d willing our next Saturday morning service will take place at our new center on January 5th.
Wingate Senior Program
On the 1st day of Chanukah the residents of the Wingate at Sudbury were able to enjoy Chanukah with a special program dedicated to them, which included a Menorah Lighting, Chanukah Refreshments, and Chanukah music and songs.
