On Wednesday afternoon before Rosh Hashanah, lots of children, teens and adults enjoyed a Pre Rosh Hashanah Jewish New Year Fair. Fun activities included Challah Making and Baking, Shofar Making and Shofar Blowing, Arts and Crafts, Jewish New Year Cards and more.
Lots of participants went home with fresh steaming Challah rolls for Rosh Hashanah but some were eaten before they left the door. Lots of others were able to make their very own Shofar for Rosh Hashanah as they learned about why we use a Shofar and drilled, saw, sanded and polished their own Shofar.
