WhatsApp Image 2017-04-07 at 1.44.48 PM.jpegMazal Tov! Chabad of Sudbury received its long awaited Certificate of Occupancy today (a temporary one) allowing us to celebrate the Holiday of Passover in the new building.

We are very excited about this new development and will share more details in the coming days. Thank you to everyone who has helped us get to this stage. Additionally the Parking Lot has been completely redone this week and will be finished in the next hour or two.

The timing couldn't be better as Passover is right around the corner and we will celebrate the holiday of liberation and freedom in the new building.

Additionally, today marks the date of birth of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Schnersohn, which has been marked by every President since Carter as National Education Day. This morning President Trump continued the long standing tradition of his predecessors and declared it National Education Day in tribute to the Rebbe's role and inspiration of a value based education for everyone. You can read more about this here

Personally, as someone who has been influenced by the Rebbe's teachings and inspiration in a profound way, I am humbled and grateful that this momentous moment transpired on this special day.

gg.jpgI am also excited to share that over 400 people were able to enjoy Model Matzah Bakery events put on by the Chabad Center of Sudbury in the last ten days.

Participants included local temples and groups, the New England Hebrew Academy in Brookline, the Jewish Community Day School in Watertown, and dozens of local families and individuals. You can read more here.

We were also excited to have had a great teen event this past week, which the teens thoroughly enjoyed and we look forward to being able to provide many more programs for them over the next few weeks.

With best wishes for a Shabbat Shalom and an energetic final few days of Passover Preparations.

Shabbat Services will be taking place at our home for one more weekend!

Good Shabbos & Shabbat Shalom

Yisroel
