Yom Kippur Report

Monday, 6 October, 2014 - 1:37 pm

HH Setup 2014.jpgYom Kippur with Chabad of Sudbury was marked with record attendance, uplifting services, and a great break fast at the end of the day. A great crowd enjoyed Kol Nidrei, Morning Services and Yizkor, and Mincha and Neila at the end of the day.

We would like to give a special thank you to our Chazan, Cantor Shmuli Galperin from New York who did a wonderful job at leading the services. We would also like to thank Sara Aidel and Chana Pinkwas for helping with the children's program, and to everyone who helped setup and cleanup the break the fast at the end of the day.

We are happy to report that over the course of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur over 250 different people enjoyed the Holiday services with Chabad of Sudbury. This is truly a wonderful turnout and we are grateful to the community for such a great showing.

It was especially beautiful to see all the young teenagers who successfully fasted the whole Yom Kippur, some for the very first time. What a great job we are proud of you!
