A beautiful song by one child, spectacular paintings by a few other children, creative Lego Aleph Beis letters by some others, a beautiful hand crafted Aleph by another and multiple other presentations, songs and activities were part of the year end celebration and graduation of the Chabad Hebrew School. The smiling happy faces said it all, Chabad of Sudbury's Hebrew School is one happy great place to be, making the children and their parents happy, knowledgeable and proud of their Jewish identity and its values.
The 2012 graduation had a theme of a moving train and highlighted the importance of picking up passengers and luggage in our journey through life and also of realizing the first class ticket each child carries. In the context of this theme each student was able to present alone or with a friend something they had learned over the year through song, art or knowledge and provided the parents with a delightful morning. Each student received an award for their specific accomplishments and academic achievements from Shayna Freeman the Director of the Hebrew School who also shared a timely message to the children and their parents.
Besides some fun Arts & Crafts, the children and parents participated in an exciting interactive game in which the parents were tested on how well they know their kids and then the kids were called in to verify if the answers were right or wrong. It was quite surprising to see just how well the parents knew which color toothbrush their children had, or what their children's favorite subejcts were in school!
The Chabad Center of Sudbury extends a big thank you to the Hebrew School Teachers and Assistants. Tzippi Salouki, Atara Miara, Rachel Sheperd and 
Chana Pinkwas. Without you we couldn't have made the Hebrew School be the amazing place that it is for students. A special thanks goes to the Director Shayna Freeman for her hard work year round in running the great Hebrew School Program.
