Dear Friend,

Our upcoming JLI Spring Series, An Oasis in Time; The Gift of Shabbat, will launch shortly with two option on Sunday May 8th or Tuesday May 10th. This course is truly unique from other JLI courses. Yes, each series has something special to offer. But usually they are thought provoking courses that gives us an insight into the depths of Jewish studies. This coming course is unique is that it is about something that is already part of your life.

Shabbat plays some role in your Jewish life. Perhaps a large role or a smaller role. But you are already involved with Shabbat.

If you think about it, Jewish life revolves around Shabbat. It is the time when our family is most likely to get together for dinner, the time when we are most likely to either host our friends for dinner, or be guests at a friend's Shabbat table, and its the time the we are most likely to be in Synagogue.  It's the point from which much of Jewish life radiates from.

But what truly is the weekend about? What is Shabbat? It is simply a day of rest? Is Shabbat Dinner simply a formal family dinner? Or is there something more profound that is taking place?

An Oasis in Time, will change your perspective of Shabbat and give you a new found appreciation of the gift that G-d has given to the Jewish people. A unique gift to a unique nation. You will gain new insights into many areas of Shabbat and how it affects the entire week. Your weekend experience will be truly enhanced by what you will learn.

Register for the entire course or try out the first class for free.

You can join us for the opening lesson on Oasis in Time for free and with no obligations and after the first lesson you can then make a decision about the entire course.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Rabbi Yisroel Freeman
