On Sunday Dec 19th the Jewish Women's Cooking Club held its second evening which featured Italian food and a twist of Jewish Italy. Many local women and a several college girls home from school joined in this fun evening of cooking, socializing, and meaningful discussions.
The cooking presentation was delivered by Tami Witkes of GT Caterers (or 508-317-7656) who showed her unique talents at various Italian foods peppered with helpful tidbits and meaningful nuggets of Jewish Info.
Following the interactive presentation participants enjoyed an activity which featured a taste of Jewish Italy, which included unique historic info and tidbits about Jewish Italy, current Jewish life in Italy, and inspiring anecdotes of Italian Jewish life.
The 5 college girls in attendance shared what Jewish life is like on their campuses and on the role that they help play in strengthening Jewish identity and programs on Campus.
The Italian Night Out was a project of the Jewish Women's Cooking Club and was coordinated by Robin Brookmyer, Denise Roditi and Shayna Freeman.
