This past Sunday March 21st, well over 150 people joined the Model Matzah Bakery which was held at the Nobscot Reservation in Sudbury to experience a truly exciting and memorable Passover Experience. In the space of three sessions participants from Sudbury and the surrounding towns (including a nice big group from Congregation Beth E-lokim in Acton) joined together for a fun hour of Matzah Baking, Passover Fun, and a delightful hour of hands on educational fun.
Participants had the chance to meet Moses and Pharaoh (parents who were dressed up for the event), relive the Passover story, grind wheat grains on a stone mill, make a Matzah dough, and then fashion their own authentic looking Matzah.
Among the many participants were young children, parents, grandparents and lot of smiling happy faces. We received tremendous feedback from the Matzah Bakery participants with promises that they will be back next year with their friends too.
We would like to extend a special thanks to the following individuals and
companies who helped us make a truly amazing and successful event. Without them we would never be able to do it and they deserve a big thanks. In addition we also thank all of our supporters who help us every month and throughout the year and enable us to provide these unique programs.

Looking forward to having this be something older sibs tell their younger brothers and sisters, who then can't wait for Kitah Gimel to go!
