This Sunday Tevet 10 (December 27) is traditionally observed as a day of fasting due to several major events which occured in Jewish history. Tevet 10 was also chosen to also serve as a "general kaddish day" for the victims of the Holocaust, many of whom the day of their martyrdom is unknown.
We will be holding afternoon Services at 4pm which will be followed by a short video presentation and break the fast. We encourage you to join us. The fast begins at 5:43 am and ends at 4:51 pm. For more about the 10th of Tevet, you can click here. |
