![]() Dozens of participants enjoyed the two hour fair which included a hands on Shofar Factory, a mini petting zoo, Challah Baking, Holiday arts and crafts, and lots more.
Adults and children alike were sweating away as they sawed, drilled, sanded, and polished away at the raw horns until finally the room was filled with the blasts from all the new horns. The Shofar is traditionally blown to welcome in the Jewish New Year on Rosh Hashanah.
The event is part of the rich array of programming offered by the Chabad Center of Sudbury which are always open to the public.
A special thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this program happen, and especially Adam Miller (ranger at Nobscot) for his great handiwork and skills, Shmuel Bollen for the presentation, and Bob Hyzen of Hyzen Photography for the photos.
