Dear Friends,

Yesterday I was in NY with tens of thousands of people who had converged on New York from around the world to mark the 15th Hilula / Yahrtziet of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Schneerson.  On Wednesday evening I visited the resting place of Rabbi Schneerson to say some prayers and pay homage to this great leader who inspired thousands with his leadership, teachings and inspiration.

The thousands of people lining up with me from as I waited for over an hour in line were a tribute to his tremendous impact on worldwide Jewry and a symbol of the continued impact his teachings and legacy are having on communities and individuals worldwide.

I invite you to visit our special web page to read more about his life and teachings and to gain a sense of his profound personality and message.

Additionally while I was in NYC I attended a one day conference for the Jewish Learning Institute which we are part of. At the conference we planned and prepared for an even better year of courses and learning. Some of our new plans for the coming year include a new monthly Women's JLI Class taught by women, a new 6 week exciting course for teens, and 3 great new courses for all adults.

With best wishes for a Shabbat Shalom and great week.

Yisroel Freeman
