Another week of drama in the world as candidates debate away and the country processes what is happening....

The war continues in Israel, so many new young faces were counted among the victims that were killed this week....

At the same time, at Camp Gan Israel, we are making sure that the dozens of campers have the time of their lives at the summer day camp, infused with Jewish pride, joy, fun activities, sports, swimming and so much more.

Earlier in the week, while visiting Wholefoods as part of a scavenger hunt, the workers told us that the visit by the campers of Camp Gan Israel Sudbury was the highlight of their day!
They also told us that it was such a pleasure and beautiful treat to see kids who were super respectful, polite, kind and gracious!
The campers have been busy doing acts of kindness to each other and to others too.
Today some of the campers went to a nursing home to share some Shabbat joy with the residents, and earlier in the day they went and bought lots of toys which will be distributed to displaced children in Israel, who have been impacted by the war.
The campers are aware that we speak of our values and Mitzvos, we can't change the whole world alone, but we can each make a difference in our little corner and thereby impact the whole world.
Indeed as we mark 30 years since the passing of the late Lubavitcher Rebbe, this coming Tuesday, the Rebbe's role as a leader, who inspired and believed in the uniqueness of each individual, is certainly connected to the immense impact that the Rebbe had on so many, which ultimately has helped make such a global impact on the world.
Let us all continue to do more good deeds, acts of kindness, and Mitzvos and in the merit of that, may we continue to bring the blessings that the world needs.
