Dear Friends, Thank you to everyone who joined us over Chanukah for the multitude of programs, events and services. Seeing hundreds of people at the Sudbury Town Center, the dozens in Marlborough Ciy Center, the seniors singing and laughing, the teens celebrating with joy and pride, and tons of children celebrating this holiday with so much joy and smiles, was truly uplifting, inspiring and greatly needed during this challenging time. At a time when antisemitism is up and when people have been nervous to gather and celebrate as Jews, this Chanukah proved and showed, that Am Yisroel Chai, and people are stronger, more proud, and doing more than ever before! Thank you to each and every one of you for helping make this happen and a huge thank you to our many friends in the non Jewish community who showed up and gave us so much support over the holiday. Thank you for your Support!! Thank you to everyone for showing up and helping make these events and multiple others, be what they were. Indeed while it may be dark and challenging outside, together we succeeded in bringing the light and message of Chanukah to many hundreds of families and individuals this Chanukah. Thank you to everyone who helps support our work year-round or with the Chai Celebration Year End Fundraiser which has almost finished (92% so far). It is this generous and amazing community support which enables us to work together and continue to strengthen the Jewish community and make the world a brighter place. |

A huge crowd of hundreds of people joined us in Sudbury Town Center for the 1st night of Chanukah to celebrate and stand together.
On Monday Dec 11th, a crowd of dozens joined together on a frigid and windy night, for the annual Marlborough Menorah Lighting.
Dozens of teens from the greater Sudbury area enjoyed a fun evening on a Chanukah Party Bus and a Chanukah Party Limousine. The teens went to multiple stops at which they did fun Chanukah activities, lit up the town Menorah, and stopped by to say hello and bring some gift to the Sudbury Police.
Dozens of children and adults enjoyed a fun afternoon of Chanukah fun as they built their own Chanukah Lego Menorah, decorated their own Chanukah Donuts, relived the story of this holiday, enjoyed other fun activities and celebrated Chanukah.
The many students of the Chabad Sudbury Hebrew School enjoyed an action packed morning of Chanukah fun and learning as they celebrated the holiday in hands on way, as a follow up to all that they had learned in the weeks leading up the holiday.
Chabad of Sudbury also provided Chanukah programs for local nursing homes and senior living facilities, and conducted many house visits to many other seniors and others. In addition Chabad of Sudbury hosted a special celebration for young adults with challenges, which was a very moving Chanukah celebration.
