YOM KIPPUR REQUEST

Partner with us to strengthen and brighten Lives and the Community

5784 has just begun and it is already a year bursting with tremendous potential. Many hundreds of individuals and families have participated in a Chabad Sudbury program just in these first few days of the year, whether at High Holiday Services, visits to the local Nursing Homes, Tashlich for the crowd of hundreds, the Rosh Hashanah Dinner, Hebrew School or so many other venues and programs. Together they have helped set the tone for what will surely be a beautiful, productive and growth oriented year.

Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the year is just days away and of course as it approaches we will be all be reflecting, praying and thinking about the year that was and everything that happened in it, and along with that, we will be thinking about the year that will be and all of its potential. With this in mind, we turn to you with a Yom Kippur Request, and ask you to consider making a generous contribution of whatever level works for you, to help support the critical work of Chabad of Sudbury, in the greater Sudbury area so that together we can make this coming year a time of continued impact on lives in a very tangible way.

We know that there are a lot of major challenges out there in the world today, and there are many on a local level too. We know that we cannot solve every challenge alone, yet we also know that we can certainly make a profound impact in the community we serve and with the hundreds of individual lives that are touched, inspired and helped throughout the year at our year-round programs or through one on one visits and discussions.

Whether it is an older person waiting for a visitor or a touch of Judaism in their home or in a nursing home, or the dozens of children who enjoy the weekly educational programs, the hundreds who enjoy holiday programs, or the adults who join the classes and lectures throughout the year, or the individual who needs a shoulder to lean on in a time of challenge, the teens who enjoy year round specialized events, or simply strengthening the connections and Jewish experiences for countless individuals wherever they are, Chabad of Sudbury is committed to making all of that continue to happen, and to doing even more.

Our holiday programs just for this month, cost us well over $30k in extra costs, between the Tent, Equipment, Security, Events, Dinners, and so much more. Yet the value in terms of lives impacted far exceeds that in so many ways.

Chabad of Sudbury, does not have any membership dues and is open to all. We rely exclusively on individuals like you and so many other local kind hearted people to help support our programs and reach an ever growing circle of people.

In these days between Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur, please consider making an extra contribution to help support our vital work. Whether it is a one time gift or a monthly recurring gift, please know that you are investing in your community and enriching lives in a very profound way. There is no volatility on this investment and the return on your investment will always be tremendous and life changing.

Please partner with us and help us make 5784 an even more powerful and positive year, one person, one deed, at a time.
