The calendar year is rapidly coming to a close and as you consider your end of the year charitable giving, I would like to take a moment of your time to update you about the Chabad Center of Sudbury and its vital community work.
It has now been almost three years since we established the Chabad Center and over this time we have seen a constant growth in all areas of our programming and activities. Through our creative programs and projects, the center is bringing an added vitality to Jews and Judaism in the Sudbury area,. Whether it is our Adult Education Classes, our unique Holiday Programs, Shabbat Programs, Hebrew school, or counseling services, or any other of our many programs, the center is here as a community resource for everyone, regardless of his/her background, affiliation, level of observance, or financial ability.
Today I turn to you and ask you to end off the year by partnering with the Chabad Center of Sudbury in giving a contribution of your hard earned money to help us end off the year on a strong financial footing. Whether it is $18, $180, or $1800 every bit will make a difference to our $140,000 budget, and will enable us to continuously provide greater and bigger programs. While we haven’t lost any of our endowment funds in the Stock Market (since we didn’t have any to begin with) the last few months have proven to be a little more challenging. Thus the current economic climate makes your donation all the more important to our work and will help us continue to develop as a premier Jewish organization in our area that is shaping the future of Judaism in our community.
