Dear Yisroel

We wanted to write you earlier , but we didn't had the right words to express our feeling about this.

We are really sad for what happened to Rabbi Gabi Holtzberg Z'L' and his wife Rivka Holtzberg Z'L' , as well as for all the other people who died in this horrific terrorist act.

We couldn't beleive it when I got your first email telling that they where held hostage in the Chabbad house in Mumbai, and inmediatly proceeded to pray for them with the Tehilim prayer you sent us.

We've known Chabbad organization thanks to you and your kind, humble, and disinterested visits to our shop in Caracas, and through the friendship we have developed with you ever since. Admiring always the great work you and your wife have done for the sudbury comunity with the Sudbury Chabbad house.

We now also enjoyed , live, in person, the hospitality that Chabbad brings to Jewish people all arround the globe, when we went as you know, on a business trip to China, where we had the pleasure to go to the Chabbad house in Guangzhou, and met Rabbi Eliahu Rozenberg and his wife, and the rest of the kahal. They made us feel at home, with great hospitality, as all of the Chabbad Luvabich houses arround the world. We went on Shabbats and also on Simjat Torah, and really enjoyed being there praying, meeting people, eating Kosher dinners and lunchs, feeling at home.
Let me tell you that this was the best thing of that trip, and I keep on telling about it to my family and friends.
At the begining I was a little worried on going to a trip so far away from home, but as soon as I found out that there was a Chabbad house in Guangzhou, I booked the closest hotel to the Chabbad house and that made all my worries dissapear.

We as all the jews arround the world, have lot of questions of what happened, and why it happened to such wonderfull persons who invest their lives bringing help, and hospitality to so many people.
My father always taught me that we are not prepared to understand all the things HaShem Midbarah permits to happen in our world, and I know thats right, and that we must never judge or question HaShem Midbarah for the things we think are not right, we have to have Faith all the time no matter what happens, but in moments like this is natural to get really confused.

Yesterday we went to Chabbad Luvabich in Caracas in order to feel closer to you guys in this tragic moment. We met with the Rabbi, and he told us that next tuesday there is going to be a special service honoring Rabi Gabi Holtzberg Z'L' , his wife Rivka Holtzberg Z'L' , and all the others who died in India. We will try to be there.

I know Rabbi Gabi Holtzberg and his wife Rivka Z'L' are with HaShem in Gan Eden, and that they greatfully accomplished their Job and mision in this world.

May Hashem protect you and your family, as well as all the others from Chabbad arround the world.

Kind Regards
