This past week included so many different events which attracted different audiences and crowds.
Starting last Friday night, we enjoyed a Shabbat Israel Dinner to which more than 75 people attended. The fun evening which was mostly geared towards adults and teens, included delicious Shabbat Food with some Israeli twists, stories, songs and so much more. It was generously sponsored by Dr. Brian & Nancy Schwartz who were celebrating their 32nd wedding anniversary. (More community Shabbat Dinners are in the works).
Besides Shabbat Services & Sunday School which are weekly events that draw great crowds, the fun continued on Tuesday with a beautiful and huge turnout at the Lag Baomer Celebration.
Many dozens of young families and countless individuals enjoyed the great event, dinner, horse & pony rides, laser tag, music, s'mores and so much more.
Thank you Sam Halperin & Rachel Kobey for all o fyour help.

On Tuesday night we had our second class of our Jewpernatural course with the topic of the week being Judaism & Astrology. We explored the different texts in Judaism that cover this topic and what the various schools of thought are on how to approach this. The conclusion was that regardless of one's approach, the overriding Jewish approach is that destiny is never set in stone and we always have the ability to impact or change our destiny.
On Thursday evening we concluded the week, with a powerful lecture and presentation on "Stop a Suicide" with Dr. Doug Jacobs. Dr. Jacobs shared practical and helpful info as well as an in depth overview of the topic and what should not and what can be done.
If you would like a copy of the handout or would like to listen to the recording, please let us know.
Thank you to Dr Jacobs for your well researched and informative presentation.
