The Power of our Words

Friday, 21 April, 2023 - 3:41 pm

SPOKEN WORD.jpgToday more than ever our words can be sent all over the globe and can have an impact on someone on the other side of the world or around the corner in ways we might not be able to imagine.

Words and our communications are a powerful tool, that can be used to build or sometimes to destroy. Once they leave us, we can't bring them back one way or another.

Bullying, Divisiveness, Criticisms are just a few methods in which simple words can undermine the equilibrium of another human being, and sometimes cause deep pain and hurt, to a single individual or to a huge group of people.

Compliments, affection, appreciation, and positive words can build up humans, build up societies,  and can be key building blocks in raising healthy children and or showing genuine care to someone else and making them realize how wanted and needed they are.

Indeed words are not to be underestimated in their power, and for that reason we have a double portion which we read tomorrow, with a powerful message and meaning about the impact of our words one way or another.

Today more than ever, our society and individuals, crave and need a greater focus on more positive words and messages. The benefits are huge and the risk is minimal.

ChatGPT & AI may be able to clone human voices and come up with ideas, but will never have the authentic human touch of love, appreciation and recognition. This, is a gift that was relegated to humans to use, and to use wisely and positively.

For some powerful stories and messages about the power of the spoken word, please join us for services tomorrow and a discussion on these ideas.
