Recap First Days of Passover

Tuesday, 11 April, 2023 - 10:37 am

We hope you have all had very meaningful and uplifting Passover Seders and the messages and joy from being gathered around the table celebrating this holiday, are carrying you forward.

Thank you to the many dozens of you who joined us at the Passover Seder at Chabad. We had a truly uplifting time and a wonderful evening together and it was heartwarming to see so many old and new faces celebrating this special tradition and its messages.

Chabad of Sudbury has also been able to hold Passover events at multiple senior or nursing homes in the area, which have been unique and special in their own way.

Thank you also to all of those who have been joining us for the daily services on Passover.

This evening we begin the final two days of Passover which celebrate the miracle of the splitting of the sea and the final escape from the bondage.

We will be hosting services and Yizkor Services over the next two days.

Tuesday April 11th - 8pm Candle Lighting at 7:05pm Evening Service at 8pm

Wednesday April 12th - 10am Morning Service / Kiddush Luncheon at 12:30pm
Candle Lighting Wednesday Eve - 8:07pm

Thursday April 13th -  10am Morning Service / Yizkor Memorial Service at 11:30am / Kiddush Luncheon at 12:30pm

Thursday April 13th - Passover Conclusion Moshiach Seudah 6:45pm

A huge thank you to all of those who generously donated to our Passover Programs and helped make so much happen for the community, including all of the above events, the distribution of Dozens of Catered Passover Meals, Hundreds of Passover Packages, Children's Events for Hundreds and so much more. If you would like to still participate you may do so here.

As we conclude with the final days of Passover, Israel and the painful murders and terror attacks it has endured over the last few days are on our mind. We pray and hope that the miracles of freedom and so much more continue in our days, and there should be peace and security in Israel and indeed peace and stability for all of mankind.

Wishing you all a Happy rest of Passover & Chag Sameach
