T
hank you to everyone who dropped off brand new or slightly used sleeping bags, coats & blankets as well as baby formula and more supplies, over the last few days at the Chabad Center of Sudbury to help those impacted by the terrible Earthquake in Turkey.
Earlier this week we took a packed van of donated supplies from the Sudbury area Jewish community to the Freerange Market in Medford to drop it off.
It was heartwarming to see all the supplies that are being dropped off to be sent to Turkey and to talk to Cenk Emre who is the owner of the store and the one behind this amazing initiative. Many of the volunteers and workers who are packing the boxes and loading the trucks have family or lost relatives in the areas that were impacted and were so grateful and appreciative to receive this delivery from our community, to send back home.
Cenk, said that they are happy to continue taking donations at their store in Medford, from where it will be sent off to Turkey.
