Camp finished a short while ago, but the final goodbyes included so many tears and hugs from the happy yet emotional campers who have formed such deep and joyful relationships with their counselors and new friends.
These tears, hugs and smiles had a deeper meaning and made us realize how all the efforts and energy put into this camp are worth every bit. The kids had a truly amazing camp experience and have created happy and joyous memories that will stay with them forever.
Thank you to our amazing team of counselors and teen helpers who worked so hard and gave their very best to the campers. Thank you to everyone else who helped out in so many ways to make this camp a great success.
From our supporters who help us make this camp happen, to our community doctor who helped guide the health protocol, to the volunteers who ran errands, did shopping, led activities and / or helped us with so many different pieces of running this camp, each one of you helped make this camp a positive and amazing reality after a challenging year.
Of course a special thank you to our Camp Director who can finally take a deep breath for a few days...
