It has truly been an amazing 8 nights of light and joy as we celebrated Chanukah and lit up the area with the beautiful and uplifting message of Chanukah.
Some of the highlights were definitely the Car Menorah Parade with almost 40 cars on Sunday. The parade which drive through Sudbury, Route 20 and North and South Sudbury,
brought Chanukah Holiday cheer and joy to many onlookers and passersby as well as to the participants themselves.
Following the parade, the cars joined many others for an outdoor socially distant Chanukah Menorah Lighting and amazing show by Benjamin the Juggling Clown. Despite the cold and the masks, everyone had a
great and joyous time as they enjoyed the festivities and celebrations along with the Latkes, Donuts and other fun Chanukah treats. As always the lighting of the 9 foot Menorah was fun and inspiring.
On Monday, we celebrated Marlborough's first full time Chanukah 9 foot Menorah with a beautiful lighting ceremony which was attended by local dignitaries and dozens of participants.
The Mayor Arthur Vigeant shared a meaningful and welcoming message with the crowd, which was followed by a passionate and proud message from Samantha Perlman, a councilor at large for the City of Marlborough who spoke of her joy and pride in driving by and seeing the big Menorah up on the hill.
On Sunday we had an extra fun day in Hebrew School with lots of great Chanukah Activities and fun stations.
There were multiple beautiful virtual events which we hosted for the young before Chanukah, for the community on Saturday evening and again on Wednesday evening for ladies.
Lastly we managed to visit (outdoors) dozens of homes of homebound people, quarantined people and families with children, and were able to bring some Chanukah joy and treats.
To top it all off, we watched with joy as front line health care workers who we know, received the first vaccines, in a way ushering in our own version of a Chanukah Miracle.
We would like to give a big thank you to all of the teens and volunteers who helped with the many Chanukah events and helped make them so successful.

On a personal note, we have all of our children home and have been able to celebrate Chanukah with all of our family.
It was truly 8 nights of light and joy, during a time of darkness and challenge, and we hope and pray that the inspiration and ever growing light of Chanukah will continue to impact and brighten the world each and every day.
