JLI Talmudic Ethics Course Concludes

This past Wednesday participants of the JLI Talmudic Ethics Class completed their 6th and final class of the course, with the class subject being Copyright & Intellectual Property ownership. The course was attended by some 15 people and was extremely well received. Next year we will be having 3 great new courses at the JLI which include a Kabbala Course, another Talmudic Ethics Course and a course on Biblical Analysis. After the summer we will be expanding and developing our Adult Education and look forward to sharing with you the new developments.

Shavuot Celebration Report

Packed Shavuot Celebration

Over 60 people joined together for a great celebration for the holiday of Shavuot this past Monday. The event featured the reading of the Ten Commandments from a Torah Scroll for the 3319th time, Shavuos Insights in between each reading by Rabbi Freeman, and a great Kiddush Shavuot Buffet which included Lasagna, Blintzes, Ice Cream, Cheesecake and much more.

Once again the Chabad Center was overflowing with people serving as a reminder that our current location is only a temporary solution.

	Women's Floral Night Out Report

Last Thursday local ladies joined together for another exciting Women's Night Out in honor of the holiday of Shavuos. The evening featured a a presentation by local professional Aliya Boymel on the art of floral design and care. Aliya made multiple beautiful floral arrangements and showed everyone how to design their own pieces of art. Shavuos insights with Shayna Freeman and delicious cheesecakes and other deserts prepared by Shayna Freeman. Hebrew School Gradution Report

The students and families of the Hebrew School of the Chabad Center of Sudbury enjoyed themselves at a great Hebrew School Graduation Program. The graduation ceremony included multiple presentations of art, drama and music by the students based on topics they had learned during the year, a jeopardy game created and run by student Ilana Kleynerman, and a delicious brunch.

During the event certificates of recognition and prizes were presented to the students for their accomplishments of the academic year.
