Purim in the Circus
(Sudbury, MA) The Chabad Center of Sudbury invites you to celebrate Purim at our mega Purim event “Purim in the Circus”. The event will feature a first class circus entertainer and show, a Purim Masquerade, great food, a Multi Media Megilla Reading, Purim Games, and lots more. Purim in the Circus is guaranteed fun for the entire family.
Please come dressed up in your favorite Purim costume!
The event is Sunday, Feb 28th 4-6pm and will take place in the Nobscot Reservation (White Lodge), 1 Nobscot Road, Sudbury, MA, 01776. Admission is $10 per person (ages 3 & up) or $100 to be an event sponsor.
The event is open to the entire community and no affiliation is necessary. RSVP is required for this event and can be done by calling 978-443-0110 or via email at [email protected]
Purim is a day of celebration and sharing together. It is a Jewish Holiday on which we exchange gifts of delicacies, aid the poor, and feast on superb dishes. The holiday celebrates the survival of the Jewish nation in ancient Persia during the reign of King Achashverosh (Xerxes). The Jews triumphed because of their active unity and unshakable commitment to their Jewish identity.
In addition to Purim in the Circus there will be a Public Megilla Reading on Saturday evening Feb 27th at 6:45pm at the Chabad Center of Sudbury
