The Western Wall on Friday Night

Dear Friends,

Spending the last few days in Israel was profound and powerful in so many ways. Seeing many painful sights, along with so much resilience, hope and determination, leaves one with such a range of emotions and sentiments.

Whether, it was sitting in deep conversations with parents of hostages, visiting and spending time with wounded soldiers, visiting and having long conversations with bereaved families, visiting and uplifting Israel's frontline heroes, speaking with people who haven't been able to return to their homes in 11 months, and so much more, these are all experiences that leave you with one set of emotions. Hebrew School Now Enrolling

Imagine a Hebrew School where kids don’t want to miss a day! They come in with a smile and leave humming the tune to a Hebrew song.

Imagine a child who feels the warmth and spirit of Judaism and appreciates and is proud of the values and teachings of their Jewish heritage as they apply to them in today's modern world.

Welcome to the Chabad Hebrew School of Sudbury, a Hebrew School that does just that, with dozens of happy students and families from many towns in the area!

We have now opened enrollment for another year of learning and fun and are once again expecting to grow for the new academic year.

The messages we heard back, were a mixed bag with some sharing their feelings of the current challenges, and others talking about how they balance faith with the realities around them, and others who were full of confidence and determination.

I heard from the Chabad Rabbi in the Golan, who shared with me some details regarding his visit to the Dr… Read More »
