Are the Odds Stacked Against Us?

-The current challenges are pretty formidable ones....

Iran and its terrorist army proxies continue to attack Israel from multiple fronts, the situation in Northern Israel is like a tinderbox, and the hostages are still not back, with the youngest hostage, Kfir Bibas, now having spent most of his life in captivity.

On a more local level, antisemitism continues to raise its ugly head, with a multi hour vicious assault on Jewish people outside a synagogue and in a Jewish neighborhood in the Pico neighborhood in Los Angeles, earlier this week, and no shortage of other such incidents elsewhere.

What should be our inner sentiments right now?

Fear?
Panic?
Concern?
Afraid?
Dread?

Hebrew School Celebration Photos & Report 2024

HS Celebration 2024.pngWhat a beautiful celebration at the Chabad Hebrew School at ChabadSudbury we had just a few days ago.

You can see lots more pictures over here.

Dozens of students shared so many messages about things they had learned this year, through songs, skits and presentations. They spoke about the values and traditions they love learning about, being proud of their identity even when it is challenging, knowing what they represent, and of course Hebrew reading, songs and more.

Thank you to all of our amazing parents, students, teachers, volunteers and security team for another amazing year of learning & fun and of course so many new friendships and fun times!

Recap from Israel Visit


There are not really enough words to describe the intensity of the experience of the visit to Israel over the last few days. There are certainly many challenges right now in so many areas, yet at the same time, seeing the unbelievable willpower and determination of the people in the face of these challenges was tremendous.

I hope to put together a little diary of some of the key moments and share it tonight or over the next few days.

At the same time, spending Friday night at the Western Wall with thousands upon thousands of people, dancing, singing hope filled melodies and more, was a truly incredible testimony to the willpower of the people.
