Close to 100 people joined together on the first night of Passover for a joyous and uplifting Community Seder. It was truly a beautiful sight to see so many families, couple and people gathered together in celebration as the songs and messages of Passover ushered in this beautiful and meaningful holiday.

On Sunday many dozens of children and families joined in two sessions of the Model Matzah Bakery and had an awesome time grinding grain, sifting flour, shaping, making and baking a Matzah and learning all about this Mitzvah.
At the end of the event, the participants were led by "Moses" and other Jewish leaders, through the sea and went to collect their very own Matzahs which were popping right out of the oven.

We are very grateful to Rabbi Mendel Moskowitz who joined us on Sunday evening on Zoom and shared with us his personal and powerful story of his family's escape from Kharkov. Mendel also shared an update on what his family and parents, have been doing for the Jewish community of Kharkov, both for those who still remain and for the many who have fled.
