Saturday, 7 September, 2013 - 11:39 pm

NewsChabad of Sudbury and its many friends and participants marked Rosh Hashanah by holding five great and exciting events. Each event was attended by healthy  and diverse crowds who showed plenty of Rosh Hashanah spirit and participation.

Rosh Hashanah eve included a beautiful Rosh Hashanah Dinner with over 40 people in attendance.

Rosh Hashanah Services on Day One at the Nobscot Reservation were attended by a healthy crowd and included traditional and very user friendly services along with a great children’s program and Kiddush Luncheon.

Tashlich & Shofar at the Grist Mill at the Historic Wayside Inn attracted about 70 people and included Shofar Blowing, Tashlich, many kids playing together for an hour and a half while the adults hung around and socialized, and a truly special outdoor celebration of Rosh Hashanah.

Services on Day Two drew a nice crowd and were held at the Chabad Center of Sudbury Chabad

A special Rosh Hashanah Celebration was held for local seniors and their family members at the Wingate at Sudbury on Day Two.

Collectively the events drew record turnout at Chabad of Sudbury's Community Events and mark a truly beautiful way to start off the new Jewish year.
