"A Promise at Sobibor" Event Pictures & Report

IMG_2545.JPGYesterday a large crowd of more than 130 people joined Mr. Philip Bialowitz to hear his lecture and presentation "A Promise at Sobibor". The large audience which included children, teens and adults were riveted, moved, and inspired as Philip described his experiences in Sobibor and during the war.

Philip described the revolt and how together with some 40 other Jews in the concentration camp they were able to kill the guards and escape into the forest. Once in the forest they joined the Partisans and continued the fight while trying to survive and live through each day.
