Rosh HashanaThe Chabad Center of Sudbury invites you to join us for our warm and inviting High Holidays Services and Programs. Treat yourself and your family to a refreshing High Holiday Experience that include are open High Holiday Services, exciting interactive programs, and enjoyable community holiday events, all with No Membership or Affiliation required, and no charge for Seats.

Our High Holiday services are traditional and meaningful and held in a warm and non-judgmental atmosphere where everyone feels at home and welcome. Our services are geared for secular, traditional, undecided or whatever type of Jew you are. No prior experience or background is necessary for our services, so come and join us and you will find our Services to be user friendly, human friendly, and exciting.

A unique simultaneous children's program and service will ensure that the entire family will experience a positive and meaningful High Holiday experience. The children's program includes a special children's service and interactive activities.

There is no set charge for seats or membership that is required.

Your voluntary contributions are greatly appreciated to help support the High Holiday services and the rich array of year round programming which the Chabad Center of Sudbury provides to the community.

As always at Chabad no one is turned away due to lack of funds.

Please note that we will have Security throughout the High Holiday Services. 

In addition, as in previous years we are also planning a Community Rosh Hashanah Dinner on Sunday Evening  9/29, a Community Tashlich Service on Monday 9/30 and several Rosh Hashanah Senior Services at local Assisted Living & Nursing Facilities.

While we don't have official membership requirements, we do rely on the generosity of the community to help support our programs. In lieu of Membership we do have Honorary Partnership Options, in which you can choose to become a Chabad of Sudbury Partner, and help support our work in a way that makes a significant impact.

Seat Reservations

Please reserve your seats ahead of time for the High Holidays as this will help us plan accordingly in terms of setup, security and more.

Suggested Donation: $100 per adult. $36 per child.

You can certainly donate more if you are able to, to help support our work and the costs of running the High Holiday Services, and you may donate less if the suggested donation does not work for you. 


Kids' Program
Led by our experienced and energetic group leaders, we will provide fun and educational programs for your children while you attend services. Each group will enjoy age appropriate games, stories, discussions, prayers and songs.
Programs runs from 11:00am to 1:00pm

Tashlich Service

In the late afternoon of Rosh Hashana, we will join together at the Grist Mill for a Shofar Blowing & Tashlich Ceremony.

Rosh Hashanah Dinner

The Chabad Center of Sudbury invites you to join us for our annual Community Rosh Hashanah Dinner to welcome in the Jewish New Year. The Dinner which will take place on Sunday Evening Sep 29th, Rosh Hashanah Eve, will feature the tastes and traditions of this special holiday along with great food, song, and meaningful holiday nuggets.

The fee for the Dinner is $36 Per Adult & $18 per Child under 12, Children Under 3 Are Free. 

Consider Being a Rosh Hashanah Dinner Sponsor for $180 (Includes 2 Adults & 2 Children).

The dinner is scheduled to begin at 7:00pm.

Prior to the Community Dinner there will be Rosh Hashanah Evening Services at 6:15pm for which there is no charge.
