 This year the holiday of Purim is celebrated on Wednesday evening, March 7th and continues through to  nightfall of Thursday March 8th.  

One very special mitvah of Purim is to send Kosher food gifts to our neighbors, friends and family members. This is known as Mishloach Manot or Shalach Manos.  

Our Chabad House has implemented a innovative online program to assist you in remembering your friends on Purim while simultaneously supporting Chabad

The Inside Scoop on Insider Trading was discussed and debated at the launch of this week's Money Matters Course. Some 15 participants analyzed Jewish, Legal & Talmudic texts as they examined the ethics behind Inside Trading, and whether for example you have to be willing to lose your 401K if you have access to privileged information.

A great turnout of local businessmen and women showed up at the monthly Jewish Business Network for a Networking event and a presentation by Executive Business Coach Ed McDonough on "How do you get more Customers"?

Rabbi Freeman began the evening with a short Jewish reflection on the theme of the first instruction to the Jewish people after slavery in Egypt, which was making a Jewish calendar to mark time. He explained how before anything else was done, the very first item that the Jews needed to take control of and learn to imbue with purpose, meaning and holiness, was time itself. This past Sunday afternoon Dec 25th over 175 people participated in a special Chanukah on Wheels event that was put on by the Chabad Center of Sudbury and other local Chabad Centers. The event which took place at the Hudson Roller Kingdom included plenty of roller skating for the young and young at heart, laser tag, lots of other games and fun, a group Chanukah Activity Game in the Roller Skate Rink, great food, Chanukah Arts & Crafts, a Menorah Lighting Ceremony and plenty of fun for the entire family.
 
 

The diverse group of participants included families and individuals that came from Sudbury, Marlborough, Natick, Westborough, Worcester, Southborough, Newton and several other local towns. Many of the participants... ( Read More » )

Yesterday, several dozen children and their parents joined up at Pump It Up for an awesome Chanukah party / workout / CGI Sudbury Reunion. The kids had a blast literally bouncing off the walls and slides as their parents watched and enjoyed. After the long workout all the kids enjoyed a Chanukah Party, Menorah Lighting and some fun Chanukah games and activities.

This past Tuesday night a huge crowd of almost 150 people joined us for our annual Chanukah Celebration and Menorah Lighting in Sudbury Town Center. The smiles and joy that showed on everyone's faces encapsulated the wonderful feelings and sentiments brought out by this event. Both young and old were there in great numbers singing, enjoying the Chanukah Refreshments, participating in the Menorah Lighting, and enjoying the Magic show by Prof. Dan the magician.

One participant commented on how wonderful it is to have an event like this to bring their children to and at the same time to see the number of participants continue to grow each year.... ( Read More » )

The Chabad Center of Sudbury invites the entire community to join us for our annual Giant Menorah Lighting and Chanukah Celebration in Sudbury's Historic Town Center. Together we will  kindle a 9 foot Menorah in front of Sudbury's Town Hall along with festive holiday music and plenty of Chanukah joy following which we will enjoy an exciting indoor show and Chanukah Refreshments (Latkes and Donuts) in the newly refurbished Grange Hall next door.

We are excited to announce the dates for this year's Camp Gan Israel summer day camp which will once again take place at the stunning Lincoln Sudbury Campus. The camp will last for an additional week this year and will now be a three week camp which will run from Monday July 9th to Friday July 27th. Your kids will enjoy 3 action packed weeks of fun and activities. More info will be forthcoming in the next few days and weeks. Registration will open shortly. You may register for 1, 2 or 3 weeks.
